You are welcome to join the Interfaith Council and Traprock Center on May 11 at 7:00pm at Greenfield Community College Dining Commons for the 17th annual Peacemakers Awards. We honor youth in Franklin County who are making a difference for peace, social justice, and environmental justice in their schools, churches, youth groups, and communities.
The evening will include entertainment from youth performers, statements from the youth peacemakers and those who nominated them, and remarks from state representative Paul Mark.
Past recipients of the award include young people addressing issues of social injustice and global inequality in areas such as racial justice, women's rights, gender equality, climate justice, and training fellow students as active bystanders to support people targeted by harmful behavior..
This is one of the most inspiring evenings of the year. Join us in celebrating these remarkable youth and their accomplishments.
for peace and justice,
