Racial Justice Rising presents a panel discussion on Race and Religion, followed by a Q&A. Light refreshments will be available.

The program is free and donations are most welcome.
The panel:
Tim Bullock came to the New England Peace Pagoda in 1998, when he joined a year-long walk retracing
the trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. The walk, interfaith in intent and spiritual in its manifestation, inspired
Tim’s commitment to building unity and finding mutual understanding through our commonality.

Abrah Dresdale’s work includes food justice, Jewish earth-based traditions, restorative justice, anti-
oppression, and eliminating racism. An educator, community facilitator, and consultant, she teaches in
UMass’s Sustainable Food and Farming program. www.abrahdresdale.com

Gloria Matlock grew up in the Black Church and is descended from one of the founders of the Black
AME Church.

Asima Silva, a social justice, outreach, and interfaith activist, is a member of the American Muslim
Democratic Caucus and a software engineer and Master Inventor at IBM. She cofounded EnjoinGood.org
to follow her passion for building bridges of understanding and appreciation between communities of
faith.

Former Episcopal priest Ted Todd is a Buddhist practitioner who lives in an intentional community based
on Rudolf Steiner’s teachings, where he lives and works with adults with developmental disabilities and
special needs. Ted will share thoughts about how racism manifests in spiritual spaces.
